Abstract: The following investigation seeks to analyze in depth the operation and internal management of the offices of attention to crime victims, in the towns of Viedma and
Cipolletti, through the study of provincial law N°4199. This law establishes the rights and guarantees that victims have once a crime has been committed, seeking effective and adequate attention. Analyzing the implementation of this law in both offices, making a comparison, focusing on the effectiveness of current protocols and procedures, as well as the importance of the presence of a criminologist in these agencies. The methodology used to successfully achieve the formulated objectives was through semi-structured, in-depth interviews with the personnel of the offices. In this way, understanding the internal functioning of the offices and their experiences as professionals of this agency, true stories and examples of cases of victims. Likewise, the documentary analysis of reports and official records was implemented, through quantitative and qualitative techniques, providing a comprehensive understanding of this research. This investigation yielded the following results: although significant progress has been made in comprehensive assistance to victims, there are still certain are as that need immediate improvement. In both localities, assistance for victims of crimes is very different, although all the offices have the same guidelines, the attention will depend on the criteria of each professional, and this is due to the lack of standardized protocols. Likewise, the offices are not on anequal footing. In the OFAVI of Cipolletti, there is anurgent need to optimizeth estructure, the need for more personnel for the growing demand for cases and, finally, an improvement in there sources provided. In the OFAVI of Viedma, there is also a lack of economic resources for the comprehensive care of victims, and a lack of training to broaden
the spectrum of crimes, from the classification of crimes and the people to work with, both victims and perpetrators. Likewise, the need for the figure of the criminologistis evident, both in victim
counseling, inter-institutional coordination, risk assessment, as well as the use of new tools, victimization surveys, victimology and crime maps, statistics, geographic profiling, and
others. In order to study the crime in depth, from psychological, social and environmental factors, as well as to understand the needs of the victims, developing protocols to ensure a
systematic care based on best practices. Also, the design of various public policies, campaigns and prevention programs that are offered to the whole society.

Abstract: In veterinary medicine, emergencies are common occurrences.
One of these is gastric dilatation/torsion/volvulus. This condition cannot be classified as urgent or emergency until the patient is evaluated, as its classification depends on the patients general condition, the time elapsed, and the symptoms at the time of presentation. Primary care requires a series of maneuvers to be performed quickly, such as gastric trocarization to promote decompression and release of accumulated gas, allowing for improved breathing. This is especially important when performing the complementary methods of choice (for example, x-rays) without running the risk of choking or worsening the patients decompensation. In addition, aggressive fluid therapy should be initiated, with catheterization of a forelimb (for example, cephalic vein) and a hindlimb (for example, saphenous vein) to administer specific medications such as antiarrhythmics, analgesics, replacement solutions, and support solutions more quickly and effectively. A patent line is also provided so that the patient can be anesthetized without problems at the time of surgery.
Finally, the resolution of the condition is completed through a surgical procedure that is usually performed successfully according to statistics (Song, 2020). It should be noted that the animal cannot enter surgery fully stabilized, since in these emergency cases, time is of the essence. The more time passes, the more the clinical condition worsens. Therefore, efforts will be made to achieve a rapid resolution in a short period of time.
Despite this, a large percentage of deaths occur during the postoperative period. This is because a cascade of pathophysiological conditions has already been activated by the time the condition presents, requiring exhaustive and ongoing postoperative monitoring.
This article will outline the appropriate management that should be followed from the patients admission to the clinic until discharge.
At the end of the article, a clinical case of gastric dilatation-torsion volvulus will be presented, presenting the management of the patient, along with a discussion and final conclusions.

Autor(es): Cañas, Juan Manuel
Abstract: The Quintuco Formation was deposited during the late Berriasian to early Valanginian and comprises sequences of claystones, calcareous sandstones, limestones, dolomites, and anhydrites, which overlie the Vaca Muerta Formation and underlie the Centenario Formation in the Catriel platform and Bajo de Añelo. This formation, together with it’s proximal platform equivalent, the Loma Montosa Formation, constitutes one of the most diversified and widely distributed carbonate reservoirs in the entire Neuquén Basin. Within the Estación Fernández Oro deposit, located on the morphostructural domain of the Huincul High, the Quintuco Formation consists of a lower sandy member, traditionally interpreted as a wave-dominated shoreface environment influenced by nearby fluvial systems, and an upper calcareous member, which comprises oolitic-bioclastic platform deposits. In this study, 27 m of core samples from well Pi.RN.EFO-76 were analyzed. These cores
mainly consist of sandstone facies, with minor occurrences of fine conglomerates and mudstones,
generally displaying a coarsening-upward stacking pattern. Additionally, towards the top of the succession, marked signs of stress in the benthic fauna were observed, primarily associated with fluctuations in salinity levels and variations in sedimentation rates. All this evidence allows reinterpreting the unit in this position in the basin, assigning an origin linked with the downdrift progradation of a deltaic system, strongly influenced by fair-weather wave action and storm events, occasionally developing density flows triggered by the destabilization of mouth bars in the delta front.

Abstract: The Área Natural Protegida de Paso Córdoba, located in the Río Negro province, is
world-renowned for its diverse and abundant paleontological record. In recent years, the study of ichnological discoveries has experienced significant growth. In this Final Degree Project, a previously known locality within the area was studied, the Calvo site, in the Cañadón de la Tranquera, near Valle de la Luna Amarillo. The site displays an approximately 50 square meters surface, which preserves abundant vertebrate footprints in basal levels of the lower member of the Allen Formation (Malargüe Group, Neuquén Basin). At this site, at least four different types of vertebrate footprints have been preserved, each linked to a specific taxonomic group of producers. The first group of imprints includes indeterminate shorebird-type avian footprints, characterized by being tridactyl with narrow, separated digit impressions, wide angles, lateral symmetry, and a delicate, small-sized overall appearance. The second group corresponds to quadruped individuals and it is characterized by handprints with kidney-shaped, pentadactyl, laterally symmetrical impressions, with thick digital impressions with no claw traces, and subcircular foot impressions featuring digits with laterally recurved claw traces.
Morphologically, these tracks are linked to sauropod titanosaurs. The third and fourth groupsconsist of tridactyl footprints with lateral symmetry, longer than wide, with a semi-triangular posterior border, and closed digit impressions with acuminated claws. Some of these footprints, referred to here as indeterminate tridactyl Type A, show impressions of thick, short digits and are associated with hadrosaurid ornithopod dinosaurs. The other group, called indeterminate tridactyl Type B, presents slender, elongated digit impressions and is attributed to medium- sized theropod dinosaurs. The surface may represent an ichnocenosis, with producers that were likely part of a paleocommunity either visiting the site to remain there or moving from one area to another without an apparent directionality. The taxonomic groups mentioned as possible producers are classified within the Allenian association. This site likely corresponds to a paleoenvironment of a floodplain with cyclical deposition, characterized by the presence of symmetrical ripple marks, abundant evidence of MISS formation, and traces of invertebrates, represented by numerous specimens of Skolithos isp. and a single specimen referred to as cf. Ophiomorpha isp. Thus, this site and its ichnological record complement the known ichnofauna of this stratigraphic interval.

Autor(es): Martinez Maliqueo, Esteban Vicente
Abstract: This study quantifies surface deformation in the northeastern sector of Añelo, located in the central-western region of Neuquén Province, using Differential Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (DInSAR). The main objective was to investigate the relationship between land subsidence and hydrocarbon-related activities in the area. The use of active remote sensing overcomes the limitations of conventional methods,
enabling a detailed geospatial analysis of the Earth's surface. To achieve this, Sentinel-1 Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) images were processed using the DInSAR technique. A total of 183 ascending-orbit interferograms were analyzed, covering the period from May 2017 to July 2024. The resulting displacement time series allowed for the estimation of deformation velocity along the satellite’s Line of Sight
(LOS).
The results revealed a broad area exhibiting significant subsidence, with average rates close to -7 mm/year and cumulative deformation of approximately 60 mm over the study period. The strong correlation between cumulative displacement and cumulative unconventional hydrocarbon production suggests a clear relationship between resource extraction and ground subsidence in the study area.

Abstract: This study focuses on the development and uplift of the Rentería and El Cuy plains, located in the northern Patagonian foreland in the northwest of the Río Negro Province, Argentina. To carry out the morphotectonic analysis and determine the influence of isostatic adjustment on the uplift of the landscape, it was necessary to estimate the flexural isostatic response to erosion in the retroarc/foreland sector of the study area. Based on the calculated volume of eroded rock (geophysical relief), the isostatic response of the lithosphere in the Andean retroarc, including the area of interest, was modeled. The resulting models and their comparison revealed that the morphology of the elevated plains in the Northern Patagonian foreland has been partially controlled by flexural isostatic compensation in response to intensified erosion during the Pliocene-Pleistocene epoch.

Abstract: The study analyzes the flood risk in the Isla Sur and Isla Norte neighborhoods of Lago Puelo, Chubut, Argentina, due to the fluvial-morphological dynamics of the Azul River. Using geomorphological, hydrodynamic tools and statistical analysis of historical flow and precipitation data, the causes and magnitude of flood events
affecting the region were evaluated. Urban growth without adequate planning, combined with climate change, has increased the vulnerability of these areas. The morphometric analysis of the Azul River basin allowed for a better understanding of the hydrological response of the system to extreme weather events, concluding that
urbanization and geomorphological changes over the past decades have exacerbated the flood risk in the study area. Hydrodynamic simulations were performed with the IBER software on a Digital Elevation Model (DEM) to model different flood scenarios associated with return periods of 2, 10, 50, and 100 years, identifying areas at highest risk. The results suggest that the current infrastructure capacity is insufficient to mitigate the effects of future floods, highlighting the need for additional protective works and more sophisticated studies.

Abstract: In this manuscript, the geological and geomorphological study of the resort town of Las Grutas is carried
out, in order to understand the evolution of the local coastal dynamics and how this is related to the retreat
of the cliffs exposed there.
From surveys carried out with UAV, based on the digital elevation models (DEM) obtained in 2021 and
2022, it was possible to quantify the variation in the volume of beach deposits, as well as topographic profiles
of the area. Furthermore, using the orthomosaics generated from the flights, in comparison with historical
aerial photographs, it was possible to estimate a speed of retreat of the cliff between the years 1969 and 2021,
obtaining an average value of 3 meters of retreat in the least affected sectors and up to approximately 6
meters in the most affected sectors.
Processes and factors that condition the coastal zone were identified, including marine erosion processes,
which result in basal cavities and caves present in the cliffs, channels and grooves on the abrasion platform,
and subaerial processes, which in certain sectors result in resulting in areas with landslides. Also,
conditioning factors of the stability of the cliff were identified, related to its lithology, structures and slopes.
Monitoring with UAVs is proposed as a continuous coastal monitoring method, since its centimter spatial
resolution provides the possibility of quantifying processes that occur with a high level of detail.

Abstract: Physiotherapy has emerged as an essential discipline in both human and veterinary medicine, playing a crucial role in the recovery of patients with osteomuscular and neuromuscular pathologies. In animals, particularly canines, equines, and felines, frequent injuries such as joint fractures, myopathies, and tendon disorders have led to the development of specific therapeutic strategies. These include pain management, functional restoration, and reintegration into daily activities. Over the last decade, veterinary physiotherapy has gained greater relevance, integrating interventions such as physical agents, therapeutic exercises, and manual therapy. As a result, its effectiveness has been widely recognized in both clinical and research settings, establishing it as a fundamental tool for improving animal welfare. From injury rehabilitation to promoting optimal mobility, animal physiotherapy combines knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, biomechanics, and ethology to ensure the overall well-being of animals. The following article is a report on three clinical cases obtained during the Professional Practice Orientation (OPP) program for the Veterinary Medicine program. These three canine patients, after presenting with osteoarthritis and musculoskeletal pathologies, underwent physical therapy with magnetic fields, ultrasound, and phototherapy to promote recovery.

Abstract: Architecture, like music, is this coexistence and indivisibility between the tangible material and the subjective and perceptual. It is in the conscious interweaving of both worlds that the project takes on a real and profound meaning, giving meaning to the perceptual experience of space, thus elevating the project to a constructed idea.
This sacrosanct relationship between architecture and fine arts, as Alvar Aalto called it, is the focus of various discussions, but it is undoubtedly a link between architecture and music.
This project intends to create ties between architecture and music, giving it a home and habitation, becoming its home in this city. The objective of the project is to create a center completely dedicated to music, offering spaces for the different stages of formation and development of this art in the city of Neuquén. As a home of music, it is where it is developed, so the building relates to and complements this activity from its teaching and learning, through its collective and individual preparation, and culminating in its presentation on stage.

Abstract: This final degree project aims to analyze the geology of the middle sector of the Hualcupén ravine, part of the Caviahue-Copahue Volcanic Complex, located in the Southern Volcanic Zone of the Andes. Through geological mapping and petrographic analysis, six volcanic and volcaniclastic facies were identified and described, enabling the reconstruction of the geological evolution of the study area. The results include the characterization of facies belonging to the Hualcupén Formation, the Riscos Bayos Formation, and the Carreri Ignimbrite. These units are associated with different types of volcanic activity: the Hualcupén Formation is related to more effusive events linked to a stratovolcanic system, while the Riscos Bayos Formation and the Carreri Ignimbrite correspond to explosive events related to the formation of the Las Mellizas caldera and the eruption of the Cerro Bayo dome, respectively. Based on this analysis, three main geological stages were identified: the first corresponds to the development of a stratovolcano that
gave rise to the Hualcupén Formation; the second is associated with the collapse of the Las Mellizas caldera, which produced the facies of the Riscos Bayos Formation; and the third is marked by an explosive event of the Cerro Bayo dome that led to the deposition of the Carreri Ignimbrite.

Abstract: In recent decades, unconventional reservoirs have received special attention due to their high potential to meet energy supply demands. The production of these low-permeability reservoirs requires specialized techniques such as hydraulic fracturing. This process enhances reservoir conductivity and maximizes hydrocarbon production. In the Neuquén Basin, the Vaca Muerta Formation is considered the primary source rock of the basin and the most significant shale unconventional reservoir in South America. However, in recent years, the Agrio
Formation (Late Valanginian–Late Hauterivian) has emerged as an unconventional play due to the potential of the organic-rich intervals of the lower Pilmatué Member. Despite extensive geochemical and sedimentological knowledge of this unit, its geomechanical aspects remain poorly understood, particularly regarding mechanical properties, rock heterogeneity, anisotropy, and local stress conditions. The successful development of this unconventional reservoir requires a detailed understanding of rock mechanical properties and stress states to
optimize hydraulic fracture design. However, characterizing the reservoir, understanding its heterogeneity, and assessing its impact on productivity pose significant challenges, as they require integrated multi-scale studies, both in the field and laboratory.
This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the vertical and lateral variability of the Pilmatué Member, offering an in-depth evaluation of discontinuities and lithologies across three locations in the Neuquén Basin. A multiproxy approach was applied to analyze rock heterogeneity, focusing on mineralogical, textural, and mechanical properties such as strength and hardness. Additionally, field observations were integrated with microscopic and mechanical assessments to identify weak and strong interfaces, their distribution within the
unit, and to characterize the organic-rich intervals (OL1, OL2, OL3, and OL4) of current interest. The findings of this research establish a close relationship between lithological discontinuities, mechanical properties, and facies variations. Quantitative and qualitative descriptions of discontinuities reveal lateral variability between the southernmost sector, Pichaihue, and the northern sectors, El Portón and Arroyo Cieneguita. The Pichaihue sector, characterized by a more siliciclastic composition, exhibits lower rhythmicity, more abrupt contacts, and higher roughness indices. Northward, the sequences become more carbonate-rich, with more transitional contacts and smoother roughness in net contacts. Vertical variability was found to be similar in mixed carbonate-dominated environments, with the middle interval of the surveyed sections exhibiting the highest rhythmicity, as well as the greatest lithological and geomechanical heterogeneity. Mechanical property contrasts were attributed to textural and compositional changes detected from macroscopic to microscopic scales.
Moreover, the evidence from this study suggests that the organic-rich intervals meet optimal conditions to be considered as future targets based on their geomechanical properties. They exhibit thicknesses greater than 20 m, low clay content, and are predominantly composed of non-expandable minerals such as illite. The presence of quartz and carbonates makes these rocks strong and hard, which is advantageous in terms of brittleness. The organic-rich intervals OL2 and OL3, located in the middle/upper interval, exhibited a higher number of
discontinuities and weak interfaces compared to OL1 in the lower interval and OL4 in the upper interval. The rhythmic limestone-mudstone cycles, along with the presence of calcareous concretions, thin tuffaceous levels, and sandy layers, increase the complexity of OL2 and OL3 intervals, imparting significant vertical variability and heterogeneity to the Pilmatué Member that must be considered in the geological and geomechanical model. The results of this study are important as they can contribute to a more efficient exploitation of the Pilmatué Member. A thorough understanding of the vertical distribution of facies and microfacies will enable better estimations of rock mechanical properties and the selection of target levels for drilling navigation and hydraulic fracturing. Identifying rock fabric and mapping the distribution of interfaces and lithological boundaries is crucial, as they can significantly impact drilling and completion stages and affect the production potential of this reservoir unconventional reservoirs have received special attention due to their high potential to meet energy supply
