The research focuses on reconstructing the magmatic and tectonic processes linked to the evolution of the northern Patagonian retroarc since the Late Cretaceous. The methodology combined fieldwork, petrographic analysis, 3D photogrammetric modeling, and U-Pb zircon geochronology. Field activities included detailed mapping and description of CVAG outcrops, construction of a stratigraphic profile, and systematic sampling for laboratory analyses. Petrographic examination of thin sections, together with U-Pb zircon dating (64.77 ± 0.23 Ma), allowed the establishment of a Paleocene age for the CVAG and the characterization of its lithological evolution. Geochronological and structural data indicate a geological evolution controlled by changes in subduction dynamics and by the reactivation of upper-crustal faults since the Late Cretaceous. The main objective of this study was to analyze the relationship between Rating of Perceived Exertion (RPE) and motivation in Physical Education classes in a 2nd-year secondary school group at C.P.E.S. No. 12 in the city of 28 de Noviembre (Santa Cruz, Argentina), in order to provide pedagogical guidelines for planning and teaching the subject. A quantitative, descriptive–correlational study was conducted using a non-experimental, crosssectional design, complemented by structured classroom observation records. For the sociodemographic and physical activity habits characterization, a sample of n = 15 students was considered. For analyses related to the core study measures (RPE, motivation, and observation), an analytic sample of n = 14 students (complete cases) was used. RPE was recorded at the end of five consecutive classes focused on speed and strength contents using Borg’s CR-10 scale. Motivation toward Physical Education was assessed with the Physical Education Motivation Questionnaire (CMEF), complemented by a sociodemographic and physical activity habits questionnaire and a structured observation sheet to record participation, attention, observable effort, and classroom climate. Results showed moderate and relatively stable mean RPE values (around 4–4.5 on the CR-10 scale), without reaching extreme exertion levels. The motivational profile was characterized by medium-to-high intrinsic motivation and identified regulation, intermediate external and introjected regulations, and low amotivation, together with a mostly positive classroom climate. Taken together, these findings suggest that moderate exertion may be perceived as acceptable and pedagogically valuable when students assign meaning to the activity and feel competent and supported. It is concluded that RPE, motivation, and observed classroom behaviors form an interrelated framework that should be considered when planning and delivering Physical Education lessons. Incorporating RPE as a teaching tool, addressing motivational diversity, and fostering a climate that supports autonomy, competence, and relatedness may help promote more meaningful and sustainable physical activity experiences at school. The significance of the Allen Formation lies in its record of the first Atlantic transgression and its current strategic role as the primary source of sand for hydraulic fracturing in the region. The methodology integrated the survey of sedimentological logs at Puesto Zinelli and Cantera YPF, the analysis of detrital modes through the Gazzi-Dickinson technique, and the evaluation of textural parameters (sphericity, roundness, and sorting) under the API Standard 19C. The results allowed for the reconstruction of a paleoenvironmental model suggesting an evolution from fluvial channel systems (Anacleto Formation) to marine-marginal environments (Allen Formation). A fundamental finding of this research is the absence of eolian facies in the study area. Unlike previous regional interpretations, it is established that this absence is not due to local paleorelief factors but to a clear chronostratigraphic distinction: the eolian and subaerial exposure records documented in neighboring localities, such as Paso Córdoba, correspond to the Anacleto Formation (Campanian), while the analyzed sections represent the advance of the transgressive front of the Allen Formation during the Maastrichtian. Petrographically, a dissected arc provenance was identified for both units, although the Allen Formation is distinguished by an increase in acidic volcanic and sedimentary lithics. The observed mineralogical stability, characterized by quartz abundance and a low proportion of altered lithic components, suggests that these units possess favorable technical potential for their application as proppants in the industry. Finally, the evaluation of sandstones as proppants revealed high vertical textural heterogeneity at Cantera YPF, contrasting with the greater homogeneity and consistent API standard compliance observed at Puesto Zinelli.
