Título: Aportes a la solución del problema de la transformación de los valores en precios de producción. ¿Fin de la controversia a partir de la solución macro monetaria?
Autor(es): Verbeke, Marcelo Andrés
Abstract: The problem of the transformation of values into production prices was discovered and considered, for the first time in economic history, by David Ricardo, who failed to understand and explain the contradiction between the law of labor value and the obtaining of equal profits for equal capitals, regardless of the amount of labor employed.
The law of labor value establishes that only human labor generates value, and the law of the equalization of profits establishes that capitals of the same size should receive the same amount of profits (since profits are distributed according to the amount of capital invested, regardless of its composition). The incompatibility between the two laws arises from the moment an attempt is made to distribute the surplus (profit, surplus value) among different capitalists.
The difference in the composition of each individual capital with respect to the average composition makes it impossible for the surplus to be returned in the same proportion as it was generated individually. This generates a deviation between the values and prices of commodities at the individual level, given that some capitals will receive more and others less surplus (profit, surplus value) than what "corresponded" to them based on what was created during the production process.
Ricardo's concern with resolving this contradiction was so great that it led him to think and suggest that the means of production also generated value, when he revised his own work and added the famous chapter "On Machinery."
Karl Marx inherited this concern from Ricardo, managed to understand it, and offered an explanation. Marx gave greater dimension to the issue itself and established the categories of value that, on the one hand, shape the problem of transformation and, on the other, delimit it.
The solution offered by Marx was not satisfactory, but it sparked a much more intense debate. Since then, a multitude of authors have addressed the topic.
The following pages develop the formal aspects of this work. First, the object and methodology of the research are presented. Second, an introductory historical framework for commodity production, wealth, and value is described. Third, important clarifications are highlighted. Fourth, a summary of the chapters is presented.

Título: Análisis de la revista Ensayos Económicos entre 1977 y 1990. Una ventana a la transformación del pensamiento económico argentino.

Abstract: The crisis of the post-war Keynesian model in the 1970s gave rise to the advance of the Keynesian counterrevolution and produced a break in economic thinking on monetary policy and the role of the State in stability and development. This process led to the transformation of economic institutions, which adapted to the new trend. Aglietta (1996) explains these changes in the case of Central Banks: just as the Central Banking model was accepted by the financial market itself once the lessons of the economic crises of the late 19th and early 20th centuries were learned, the credibility crisis of the 1970s led to the formal establishment of the independence of Central Banks as a symbolic guarantee that restores their role as an impartial and external mediator of the interests that permeate society. In Argentina, the beginning of this transformation is usually dated to 1976 (Neffa, 1998), which saw the shift from an extensive industrialist mode of development with strong state intervention (ISI and a state-centric matrix) to a mode of production dominated by global financial flows, with a drastic reduction in state participation in the economy. This process went through several twists and turns until culminating in the economic emergency and state reform laws of 1989 and the Convertibility Law of 1991 (Rougier and Sember, 2018).
The objective of this undergraduate thesis is to better understand this transition by analyzing economic positions in Argentina throughout this period: How were counterrevolutionary ideas incorporated into Argentine economic discussions? What was their relationship with preexisting Keynesian ideas? Can we identify elements from economic thought that anticipate and explain the transformation of the economy during this period?

Autor(es): Calderón Sosinowicz, Lucía
Abstract: Contradictions are frequently found between the position of governments on the impact of fiscal policy, and, particularly, tax policy, on the economy, and the real impact of current taxes; and it is necessary to study what factors generated these contradictions. The purpose of this work is to analyze the Argentinian tax system, and the reforms implemented by the governments of the “Década Infame” (1930-1943), to evaluate whether they reflected the objectives set by the government's economic projects. Through qualitative research methods such as documentary analysis, the economic objectives pursued by the governments of the period, the tax system and the reforms conducted were examined, seeking to identify the concurrences and contradictions between these and their economic policy objectives. As a result, it was found that the governments of those years deepened the intervention of the State in the economy, the opposite to what is expected with conservative governments, mainly due to the negative consequences of the 1929 crisis in Argentina, in addition to other factors such as the change in behavior of the elites, the growing organizational capacity of the State and the political context during the putsch.

Abstract: This thesis starts from the principle that health is a right that must be guaranteed by the State. For rights guarantee issues, of equity and positive health externalities, the State intervenes either as a direct provider or as a regulator, or offering information. In the three subsectors that make up the Argentine health system –m the public, the private sector and the social security sector – various actors participate with different objectives and bargaining power in the provision, financing and regulation of health services. Furthermore, in Argentina the three levels of government intervene in health policies to a greater or lesser degree. This fragmentation of the health system makes it difficult to coordinate health policies and manage resources. It is intended to contribute to the generation of missing information to achieve greater efficiency in budget management and better use of scarce resources.

Abstract: The Alto Valle del Río Negro is a region located north of Argentine Patagonia, on the upper banks of the Río Negro and lower banks of the Limay and Neuquén rivers. Its regular flow, fed by precipitation of water and snow, has made possible the development of a densely populated and under-exploited area over 20 km. In addition, the prevailing climate in the area is continental, temperate and dry with warm days and cool nights, ideal for fruit-horticultural production. Given these natural conditions, the area is characterized by its agriculture under irrigation of fruit trees, mainly pears and apples destined for commercialization or fresh export, being one of the main regional economies in Patagonia and perhaps the one that has received the most academic attention throughout its history.

Autor(es): Behnisch, Aliosha Nicolás
Abstract: Since the first decades of the nineteenth century, various authors have associated San Carlos de Bariloche with the image of "tourist city", at the same time that the character of "monoproduction" has been attributed to tourism. But in addition, Bariloche has been able to house other activities, whose development is due both to the dynamics of demographic growth sustained during the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century, as well as to various public policies and private initiatives. Among these, it is worth highlighting the development of scientific and technological activities that today play an important role at the local, national and international level, such as the Balseiro Institute and the Bariloche Atomic Center, INVAP, Altec and a group of related companies. .
This work aims to make a contribution to the debate on the relevance of the tourism sector in relation to the growing and dynamic sector of knowledge-intensive services.

Abstract: FAO defines agriculture as the breeding of aquatic organisms, including fish, molluscs, crustaceans and plants. Breeding involves human intervention to increase production and implies ownership of the fish populations that are being farmed. Aquaculture varies according to the place where it is carried out, depending on the type of crop, the ecological conditions of the place and the aquatic organism to be reared. The most significant branch within aquaculture is fish farming, which refers to the cultivation of fish in a totally controlled by man.

Autor(es): Azuaga, Gonzalo A.
Abstract: The main objective of this research will be to analyze the continuities and ruptures that presented, on the one hand, the degree of commercial specialization and, on the other, the flows of incoming Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) during the periods of convertibility and post-convertibility. The reason behind this research is based on the fact that both aspects clearly influence the development of local productive capacities. On the other hand, the choice of historical periods is linked to the profound changes that the macroeconomic context experienced and, consequently, the policies adopted by governments since the fall of the convertibility regime.
