      <title>Influencia de la participación en el deporte universitario en la trayectoria académica de los estudiantes: un enfoque mixto secuencial en la Universidad Nacional de Río Negro en el período 2012-2018</title>

Abstract: Given the centrality that the issue of academic trajectories has taken on in both research and management in Higher Education, this work aimed to evaluate the influence of participation in the institutionally represented university sports program on the academic trajectories of UNRN students belonging to the 2009 to 2018 cohorts and to explore its underlying factors. Taking as reference the comprehensive model for the analysis of academic trajectories proposed by González (2011), a sequential explanatory mixed study with a predominantly quantitative approach was developed with a two-phase methodological approach process. A first phase of quantitative approach to academic trajectories based on data obtained from the institutional records of the UNRN, in which the academic trajectories of the total population of student athletes (n= 710) were described; the types of academic trajectories were determined; The association between academic career and sports participation was established from the comparative analysis of the academic careers of the total population of UNRN students (n=24,698) and the correlation between the level of sports participation and the academic career of the athlete graduates was determined.&#xD;
Based on the data obtained, a second, complementary qualitative phase was conducted, which constituted a first approach aimed at understanding the problem. This phase involved in-depth interviews with eleven (11) graduates. The experiences of student athletes in their academic and athletic careers were recovered and analyzed, and their assessment of the relationship between participation in the athletic program and their academic career was investigated. The study concluded that participation in the representative athletic program had a positive influence on the academic career of student athletes, who registered a statistically significant difference compared to non-athletes in their persistent careers, in re-enrollment in the first and second years, in academic performance, in the graduation rate, and in the length of their degree. This influence could be explained by the favorable effects of participation in university sports on social integration, academic integration, and institutional affiliation, and by the possibility that systematic sports practice from childhood generates and/or reinforces certain dispositions in students that are updated during the university stage and favor academic success.</description>

Abstract: Sheep production in the Patagones District has been gaining relevance over the years, not&#xD;
only aimed at obtaining high yields of quality and quantity of wool, but also at meeting the&#xD;
demands of the lamb and capon meat market.&#xD;
For their part, the marked and persistent water deficiencies in Patagones lead to the&#xD;
meticulous planning of a forage scheme that satisfies the nutritional needs of the sheep&#xD;
farmers. In this context, Agropiro is incorporated as a perennial pasture in the forage plan in&#xD;
order to cover the summer forage gap that coincide with the gestation period of the sheep.&#xD;
Through the use of NRC tables, TND values of agropiro and consumption and digestibility&#xD;
formulas, an analysis of the nutritional supply of the pasture, the demand by the ruminant&#xD;
and the resulting use of it is carried out. In addition, the analysis of data from surveys of&#xD;
producers based on the strategic use of this pasture is used as input.&#xD;
Based on the calculations, the results show that as the gestation period of the sheep&#xD;
progresses, the requirements for CP and TND increase, resulting in the consumption of&#xD;
wheatgrass alone being insufficient to cover its needs. Therefore, supplementation with other&#xD;
ingredients is being analyzed to cover this deficit.</description>

Abstract: This Final Integrative Project aims to design, implement, and evaluate a teaching sequence contextualized within problems of the Interior and Furniture Design professional field at the National University of Río Negro. This is done within the framework of the Compositional Mathematics course, corresponding to the first year of the program.&#xD;
Thus, the aim is to contribute to the identification of mathematical concepts necessary for professional interior design practice, as well as to the recognition of situations for using and communicating these mathematical concepts in the procedures performed.&#xD;
The didactic approach is based on constructivist approaches and educational innovation. The teaching sequence designed, implemented, and analyzed in this Final Project aims to build knowledge about proportional reasoning based on visual phenomena. Therefore, it addresses, among other topics, the similarity of figures, the ratio of similarity, and homothety. It also seeks to deduce properties and teach the procedure for performing this transformation on a plane, using a ruler and compass. The idea is supported that contextualizing mathematics in future professional practice can generate significant learning and motivate students, thus contributing to their design projects. The methodology used in the Final Project is aligned with qualitative approaches, focusing on the design, implementation, and evaluation of teaching proposals.</description>

Abstract: This paper focuses on examining the legal regulations and administrative procedures related to first-category mining in the Province of Río Negro. An exhaustive analysis of the regulatory framework at both national and provincial levels, as well as the administrative procedures inherent to the mining sector, has been conducted. The primary objective is to evaluate the suitability of these instruments for fostering sustainable development of first-category mining in the region. To achieve this, a comparison has also been made with the Province of Salta, which has extensive experience in the mining sector. From the analysis, recommendations have emerged that could be used in the creation of public policies to enhance the sustainable development of first-category mining activity in the province.&#xD;
The thesis is structured into six parts. The first chapter addresses theoretical and methodological issues. The second chapter describes the different levels of historical, geological, and economic context of the province of Río Negro. The third chapter focuses on the legal framework, analyzing both national and provincial regulations. The fourth chapter discusses the administrative procedures. The fifth chapter encompasses the analysis, comments, and preliminary conclusions. Finally, the sixth chapter presents the conclusions and recommendations derived from the research.</description>

The present work investigates the effects on the dropout rate produced by the incorporation of an introductory cycle to the curriculum of the Public Accounting career of the National University of Río Negro, given that such modification was carried out with the purpose of leveling the entry conditions of students and encourage their permanence.&#xD;
The analysis of the quantitative data provided by the institution and the information obtained from surveys and interviews, carried out with students and teachers of the course, allowed us to know the evolution of their dropout rate, the moment in which the greatest dropout occurs, as well as well as investigate the causes that generate it.</description>

Abstract: This research seeks to investigate the impact that pedagogical training of university teachers generates in students. For this, changes were revealed in the students' perception regarding the assessment of the classes and their motivation for learning chemistry. Variations in academic performance were also evaluated. It is used as a unit of analysis for students of the subject Chemistry I, a subject that is in the Food Engineering and Biotechnology Engineering careers that taught by the National University of Río Negro, at the Alto Valle and Valle Medio headquarters, Location Villa Regina.&#xD;
The cohorts under study are five, from 2016 to 2020. During this period there was a&#xD;
gradual transition of the teaching group, which went from a technical profile, with a focus&#xD;
teacher-centered, to student-centered teaching. This was possible thanks to the incorporation of assistants with basic pedagogical training, and the training of the teachers in charge. In the last cohort under study, all teachers They had at least accredited training.&#xD;
A mixed, quali-quantitative research was carried out, through interviews with students and a course evaluation survey. Analysis of the results indicates positive variations in the appreciations of the students of the cohorts where the teachers received some type of training. The biggest changes are observed in the perception of the enthusiasm and dynamics of the teacher's classes and in the assessment of the individual relationship with students.</description>
