Palimpsestos de la norpatagonia. Videoarte y paisaje

Abstract

Patagonia is where I live. This final thesis will attempt to outline some approaches to the aesthetic representation/construction of this territory. It includes personal production as another way of thinking from the perspective of matter/immateriality, thus complementing the theoretical research. Palimpsests of Northern Patagonia explores and tests poetics that address the deconstruction of the category of landscape in relation to the northern Patagonian territory through a common expressive resource: video art. It aims to account for personal constructions in relation to this territory, both those of visual artists who live there and my own.
