El instituto del juicio por jurados como herramienta de legitimación y democratización del Poder Judicial de la Provincia de Río Negro

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the implementation of the jury trial institute as a tool for legitimizing and democratizing the judiciary in the province of Río Negro. Following the proposals of jurists such as Bergoglio (2012) and Bercholc (2008), it is proposed as a general objective to analyze whether the different actors of the judicial system of the province conceive the jury trial institute, for which it will be analyzed if the actors of the judicial system of the province, as well as the actors outside this province, conceive the current judicial situation as a crisis situation, analyze what are the responses that according to the actors, can grant such a system to make this power a more legitimate and democratic, and identify opinions about the institute of trial by juries who hold the actors involved in this research.
