dc.description.resumenIn the region of Nahuel Huapi, in the North Patagonia in Argentina, the touristic activity is linked to the beauty of the landscape and the nature. Francisco P. Mo-reno made the donation of three leagues of land, and on that base in 1934 was created the Direction of Nationals Parks (DNP) as the institution for the control and care of the two firsts National Parks: Iguazú in the North, and Nahuel Huapi in Patagonia. Since then, from the management of Exequiel Bustillo, who was the President of the DNP until 1944, was designed, planned and structured the region. The international tourist center in which has become the city of San Carlos de Bariloche, its based on that project, and in the present it's so important the enhancement of natural heritage as the architectural urban style: the post-card created on that period has transcended to present day maintaining this image where the nature is the frame for the architecture, and its the scenery of the symbolic production of nationalist speech. We are facing a case of urban development in which we devised what we would today call a enhancement of the natural heritage, through its transformation into an econo-mic and tourist resource, that involves several cities and surrounding villages. The present work makes a journey through the history of the use of the city's tourist resources to observe how Barilo-che currently hides a more complex social reality than it appears, and in this effort to reflect on the use of heritage.es_ES
