Descripción y análisis de los Trabajos Finales Integradores de una Especialización en Docencia Universitaria

Abstract

Synchronously with the beginning of the Specialization in University Teaching (EDU) at the National University of Río Negro, the Research Project: "Trajectories of Training in the Specialization in University Teaching at the National University of Río Negro" was implemented to study various aspects of its development, to make a socio-demographic characterization of its enrollment, to describe and analyze the motivations of teachers to start it, to analyze the changes in the visions they had before and after the course on student continuity, among others. Within the framework of an EVC - CIN grant, it was considered of interest to complement the studies carried out with an analysis of the Final Integrative Works (TFI) approved by the Academic Committee of the students of the first EDU cohort, most of them teachers of the National University of Río Negro. We consider that the choice of the topic constitutes one more point in the training trajectories they follow, and its analysis will collaborate in the construction of meanings about the EDU, since it would reflect a map of the aspects of the teaching activity at the university that were considered of interest and illuminated by the teachers who are studying it. Seventy-six approved TFI projects were analyzed, categorized and case interviews were conducted by category. The results show a complexity of aspects and relationships around this stage of the trajectories, which allow us to think about different questions on the development and meaning of graduate careers for university teacher training.
