dc.description.abstractWe discuss the socio-ecosystem relationships in Patagonia from the time of initial settlement to the present. The perspective from a broad time scale reveals some of the particularities that surround the concept of environment. Our analysis allows us to observe very clearly the role that human groups have had, even from early moments, in the formation of what we call environment. Finally, the need to include this kind of approaches to nurture variability and nuances in socio-ecosystem relationships and links is proposed, and the role of education as a transformative proposal for the co-construction of new and lasting links is highlighted.es_ES

dc.description.resumenDiscutimos las relaciones socio-ecosistémicas en Patagonia desde el momento del poblamiento inicial hasta la actualidad. La perspectiva desde una escala temporal amplia pone de manifiesto algunas de las particularida- des que rodean al concepto de ambiente. Nuestro análisis permite observar con mucha claridad el rol que los grupos humanos han tenido, incluso desde momentos tempranos, en la formación de aquello que llamamos ambiente. Finalmente, se propone la necesidad de incluir esta clase de acercamientos para nutrir de variabilidad y matices las relaciones y vínculos socio-ecosistémicos, y se destaca el rol de la educación como una propuesta transformadora para la co-construcción de nuevos y perdurables vínculoses_ES
