Resumen: | To carry out the Integral Plan for Conservation and Restoration of the Giai collection of the Museum of Patagonia (PNNH-APN), we developed a working methodology for the study of cultural assets. The diagnosis of the conservation status of each object is the first mandatory methodological instance in a conservation treatment. The complexity of the required studies promotes interdisciplinary methodological steps in which we rely on the implementation of non-destructive analytical techniques to address the diagnosis. Here we present the analysis of a metallic jingle bell from this collection, by implementing complementary Neutron and X-Ray tomographies performed at the Helmholtz Zentrum Berlín – Micro CT; CONRAD 2-. |
